Several years ago when my friend was
sixteen years old his parents agreed to let him have a car if he
worked for it. He began working part
time for a
local burger joint on weekends
and after school. About a year later he
had saved enough money to buy the car of his dreams---a 1964 ½ Ford
Mustang
Convertible. He carefully searched all
the used
car lots as well as the local
classified ads. Undaunted
by his inability to find the car of his
dreams, he continued working.
One Saturday
afternoon a customer pulled
into the restaurant
lot with a "for
sale" sign in his car window. As
luck would have it, it was a 1964 ½ Ford Mustang. Talk
about your good timing! He fell in love with
the car and agreed to buy it.
A few days later he paid the elderly gentleman in cash. As he drove the
vehicle away he noticed there was a slight
problem with the timing, but
that was the least of
his worries. As he drove the
car home it began to jerk and chug down the road. The timing belt had
broken! As the car came to an
abrupt halt in the middle of the road it was broadside by a Chevy Camero.
This not only bent the frame, but totaled
the vehicle.
Now talk about your bad timing…..
I guess you could say timing in life and timing in speakers share a common ground. Timing in life is BIG! To be in the right place at the right time could men the difference between happiness and unhappiness. The same goes for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The parallel between speakers is easy. Being in the right place (positioning for maximum listening pleasure - time coherent) is everything. As is being in a bad position.
