Here's a three shot sequence of a small flock of Heron-i's being hatched from the nest. Following the silk screening of the logos and terminal identifications, Cardas Solid Copper binding posts are installed. |
Then, the Tara RSC internal wiring is prepped and the crossovers are installed at the base of the speakers. Lucinda is trimming the layer of Keldamp that affixes the outer baffles to the cabinets and mechanically decouples them as well. |
Having mounted the outer baffles and completed the cabinets' internal damping regime, Casey prepares the drivers by applying a layer of Keldamp. She then carefully solders them with silver solder, beds them to the baffle on a gasket made of Keldamp, and tightens the mounting screws to exact torque. |

These Heron-i's are complete and ready to enter Quality Control where they will be subjected to full power testing to assure that their performance meets our standards. Then they'll be encased in several inches of polystyrene foam and heavily cartoned for a safe flight to their new homes. |
