Swallow shows off our very latest thinking on the subjects of style, construction and sonics in a delightfully compact package.

Sister to the fabulous Swift, Swallow too boasts a caliber of musical performance that plainly outweighs it modest size and price. The sonic signature is one of natural tonal balance, lively dynamics and a firm foundation of well extended bass. Like all Meadowlark speakers, Swallow really delivers in the all important vocal range, and boy can this little birdie SWING!

In our factory, nestled between Lake Ontario, the Adirondack Mountains and the Canadian border, Meadowlark craftsmen mill raw native Ash solids into this beautifully sculpted speaker. Construction highlights include a 1.5” thick triple layer baffle and top, transmission line bass loading, heroically heavy bracing, our famous frameless grille and an integral isolation chamber that houses the crossover circuit. 

Each Swallow is individually glued and clamped the ‘old fashioned’ way using slow setting adhesives for superior strength. 
Natural Ash veneers are applied to the sides and is carefully sanded. We then hand apply several coats of crystal clear lacquer to allow the deep natural beauty and character of the wood to show through.

Swallow’s elegantly simple crossover consists of just three parts, a heat sinked Caddock Power resistor and an Auricap form the tweeter section and a single heavy gauge, pure copper air core inductor feeds the woofer. All parts are point to point hand silver soldered.

Shown here with its matching sand fillable stands, $249 pr., Swallow makes an elegant statement both visually and musically.

While satisfying the intense sonic demands of two channel applications is Swallow’s forte, it is equally at home in AV settings as either mains or rears.

In today’s world of look alike, sound alike, mass produced, consumer product bookshelf speakers - Swallow certainly stands out as the ‘genuine article’.  Though the Blue Bird of Happiness seen perched above will not actually arrive with your speakers, she'll certainly be there in spirit!
